More of your DNA, more to act on

We read your whole genome, all 3,200,000,000 letters, for the most complete picture of your DNA.

5,000x

more of your DNA read than a basic kit*

*Basic kits read about 650,000 markers. We read all 3,200,000,000 positions, roughly 5,000x. Compared to 23andMe, Ancestry, and similar DNA tests.

Questions, answered

A basic DNA kit checks a fixed set of pre-selected spots and is locked to whatever it measured the day you sent it in. The whole genome reads every letter of your DNA, so it covers far more ground and keeps turning up new answers as the science grows, without you ever testing again.

The DNA test reads hundreds of thousands of key markers on a genotyping chip. The whole genome is 3x whole-genome sequencing: it reads across every letter of your DNA at 3x average coverage, then uses reference panels to fill in the rest with high confidence. Both come from one saliva sample, and the whole-genome read is what lets your results keep expanding over time.

Coverage is how many times, on average, each letter of your DNA is read. At 3x, our whole genome is well suited to the common, well-studied variation behind traits, ancestry, and the wellness insights we report, and it covers the entire genome rather than a fixed marker list. It is not clinical grade. Clinical-level use, meaning confirming rare or disease-causing variants, carrier screening, or anything a doctor would act on diagnostically, requires at least 30x coverage. If something in your results matters medically, treat it as a starting point for a conversation with your clinician, not an answer.

No. You collect a simple at-home saliva sample with the kit we ship you, register it, and mail it back with the prepaid return. No clinic visit and no blood draw.

Most results are ready in about two to three weeks after the lab receives your sample. You can follow each step, from received to sequencing to analysis, on your tracking page.

No. Because we read your whole genome once, new panels and new research read off the same file you already own. Your results grow over time with nothing more to swab.

No. Your results are for wellness and education. They describe inherited tendencies, not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or doses, and they don't replace a clinician.

Your DNA is yours. Your raw genome is never sold in any form, you can delete it anytime, and only broad anonymized trends are ever shared, which you can opt out of.
